TRAVEL Day - Waldport to Bandon

Today we were very eager to get on the road, Waldport was nice but next up was and is one of my favorite places to visit, Bandon, OR.

We were on the road by 10 am and made good time to Bandon. The coastal drive was incredibly beautiful with each bend of the road more breath taking views were just around the next corner.

Heceta Head Light House

We arrived in Bandon at 1 pm and set up our RV and made lunch at camp instead of going out. With full tummies we headed out to explore "Old Town" and hit up some of our favorite shops.

After a successful shopping venture we headed back to camp as we also had gone grocery shopping. Danny played around camp (managed to get lost... again) but thankfully this time had his watch on, and was in familiar stomping grounds so I quickly found him.

Then we headed back into town for dinner. Danny and James got fish and chips from the Chowder House and I had a half a Dungeness crab from Tony's,

We found out today that the Minute Café is no more. The sign is still up, but the café has closed. This café has personal family significance as it is where Pa (James grandfather) was sitting on the morning of Dec 7 1941 when he and his family learned about Pearl Harbor.

Tomorrow more adventures await!
