Today felt pretty full of awesome adventures.
After a quick breakfast at the trailer, we headed out the Oregon Coast Aquarium, (see yesterday's post about the magic of the last time we were there.)
The Aquarium remains to be an awesome place, but should be visited on a week day rather than a weekend.
I still managed to capture some magical moments.
For lunch we went to the Newport Brewing Company for lunch, and I highly recommend. I got a fish pita sandwich that was seriously some of the tastiest food I have enjoyed on this trip.
Then we wandered through the historic wharf in Newport before heading back to Waldport for their Sea Daze Festival.
There had been advertising of a children's carnival, and that was a huge hit with Danny. His favorite games was tossing a softball into an old fashioned milking container, a lawn dart game, and catching a fish.
We checked out a local book store which did not have the book I was looking for, (the Green Ember series) and so we went food shopping and returned to camp.
For dinner James made some amazing fish tacos and corn on the cob.
We then introduced Danny to the movie Hugo and by then it was time for the annual Waldport Fireworks. We were lucky that we did not have to travel to see them at all, and they could be seen from our campground.
(I have video, I just have to figure out how to upload it, so apologies, that part may have to wait until we are home.)
