Like no time has passed

 Today felt extra amazing.

Our day began with a pancake breakfast with one of my absolute favorite people, Katie. We met as babies when we lived in Winchester and were joined at the hip at kids. Today it felt like no time had passed at all and was a highlight of this trip for me to be able to see her !!! Best day EVER!!!

After an amazing morning, Danny and I hiked out to the spit and ran into some friends he had made yesterday on the playground. We also found a super cool banana slug! Did you know are used in Native American Medicine as a numbing agent? Totally cool fact.

We found a super cool centipede too!

We joined up and hiked out to the sandy beach, and I was grateful it was not as cold today. Danny and his new friend played for two hours hardly noticing that so much time had passed by.

We returned to camp and after a great lunch (someone was quite hangry) was able to resume playing on the playground at our campground with his new friend. We returned to our camp when his new friend left to go get some lunch and played a few rounds of corn hole. Danny has an incredible arm and kept beating his dad and I!!

We returned to the playground and he found another friend he had made yesterday and played the rest of the afternoon away.

James got delicious salmon at the market and for dessert we made a campfire and had a delicious feast of S’Mores.
