Dungeness Campground/ Happy Father's Day

Wow. Today was filled with so much adventure from delicious food to an animal park and playing on a beautiful beach.

Oh and it should be said, Happy Father's Day to James!

We began our day at what is now our new favorite breakfast place. The food was beyond your wildest dreams delicious.

The food was amazing. James got the Traditional (eggs, toast, and potatoes), Danny got French toast with strawberries, and an egg, and I got their famous apple pancake.

After such a scrumptious breakfast, we went to the Olympic Game Park. This animal refuge, allows cars to drive through the park and get up close and personal with most of the animals. They have deer, bison, elk, bears, yaks, peacocks, a tiger and a lion (which were sort of off exhibit).

*of course these two are our favorite

One of our new friends that we met yesterday invited us to join them at Port Williams Beach. We headed back to the RV to back a picnic lunch (though none of us were hungry) and then joined them at the beach.

There was plenty of driftwood to play with for Danny and the water was much calmer. As an added bonus we saw a seal, an otter, AND an ORCA!!! (though not pictured)  Danny and his new friend created this impressive raft out of drift wood

(Mt Baker made an appearance, usually it is covered in a fog bank)

Also not pictured is the doe and fawn I saw crossing the road,

The beach was incredible
We returned back to our campsite and ordered Thai food from Swadee Thai.

The evening finished with s'mores.
Tomorrow we move to Quinault Lake
