Gig Harbor to Sequim (Dungeness Campgound)

Today was a travel day and therefore not very exciting.

Danny bonded with a sibling pair at the Gig Harbor campground who shared with him a secret hiding spot where the two played in nature all day. At the RV Park, a demolition vehicle appeared and began pulling apart an old house structure on the property.

We departed without fanfare and drove to our campground, prepared lunch. To Danny’s delight, right in the center near our campsite is a playground and befriended two boys, one named Casey and one named Apollo.

They created and invented games all afternoon and had a wonderful time playing all afternoon.

At the end of the day I hiked down to the Dungeness Spit (which is a small strip of sandy beach that stretches about 5 miles.

It was cold and windy but absolutely beautiful.
