Travel Day - Dungeness Campground to Quinault River/Lake

 Today was a travel day, James ran errands while I packed up the inside of the RV. We finally got on the road about 11:30.

The slide for the RV decided it did not want to close, but after some trial and error we got it to close. (PHEW).

The drive from Dungeness Campground was stunning. We drove through some of the most beautiful forest, our favorite part was passing through Lake Crescent.

We have decided to return to this area is there is still so much that we did not get a chance to explore, but here is a taste of Lake Crescent

Along the way we passed through Forks on 101, and for those dear readers who are fans of the books and movies of Twilight, we took a quick chance to stop by.

We finally arrived in Lake/River Quinault and we are staying at the Quinault River Inn. We did check out the lake and Danny, James, and Kiara had an awesome time swimming in the lake. I put my foot in but decided it was much too cold for me, so Maddie and I chilled on the shore reading a book.

Dinner was left over Thai food from last night. Dungeness Fried Rice might be one of my favorite new dishes.
