We awoke to the sweet dripping of rain, it stopped by the time we were packing up. I had thought I might head back into Astoria to check out Godfather Books but we all wanted to get on the road since it would take about 4 hours to go from the Astoria area to Waldport.
Along the way we stopped at a beautiful look out of Cannon Beach,
Cannon Beach - this is more of the iconic view from the movie Goonies.
One of my future blogs will be the Goonie bloopers, one of them being this view. (In the movie, the kids are made to look like they are traveling North, when in fact Cannon Beach several miles to the south).
We stopped at a yummy food truck called Recess for Lunch in Tillamook. We did not do a factory tour as the parking lot looked like an Ikea Parking lot during a major sale.
We did see some incredible views along the way
