Durango Bound

Well after 19 months we are on an airplane again. 

Today we are flying to Durango and then onwards to Pagosa Springs.

It has been awhile since I was up for the day at 2:22 am but we made it out the door by 3:40 am.

On the drive over to the airport, Danny expressed his desire for a Safari car.

Uhm ok, cool. You sure you mean a safari ?

Yes mamma

Can you describe it ?

(Attempts to describe it and it is definitely not a safari vehicle he is describing)

I describe what a safari looks like and suddenly it occurs to James, he is asking about a Ferrari 😂😂😂

So note to self, kiddo wants to ride in a Ferrari not a safari ha ha ha.

We arrived at the airport and found a spot and caught the next tram to the terminal. It was going to cost an arm and a leg so we are sticking to carry on (I miss southwest, we are flying American). 

I hit a snag at security when my boarding pass scan didn't match my birthdate!! Fortunately it was fixable but not before increasing my blood pressure ever so slightly.

Made it to LAX.

We are now at LAX waiting to board our flight to Durango. 

As we landed in LAX, all I could think of was the movie Speed and Keanu Reeves standing over Sandra Bullock's shoulder and saying

"Stay above 50!! You gotta stay above 50!!"

Ha ha ha
