Setting our own pace

After what felt like non stop the last couple of days today we went at our own pace 💖

After a leisurely wake up and packing up to leave I confess it was noon by the time we left. 

I am reading Wild and OMG we crossed the Bridge of the Gods where Cheryl Strayed completed the PCT !! I completely squealed 🥰

We drove to Beacon Rock and ended up parking in the boat launch area. 

We picnickedi n the meadow and then hiked the loop and then Danny decided it was time to head back after about 2 miles. 

We returned to the meadow where he played and them we took the scenic route home. 

Tomorrow we are exploring Portland and Powells. I am so frickin excited it feels like a night before Disneyland.
