Day 2 - Grants Pass to Troutdale

After the episode of the broken key and punctured tire we started to make our way north to the Portland Area. 

After being surrounded by so much dry vegetation seeing gorgeous green is refreshing.

I confess that though we covered more miles yesterday, today felt like it took forever.

But we did some some awesome sights 

I will post pics of set up in Troutdale 

By the time we pulled in and parked it was nearly 8:00 and we were starving. 

We made our way mostly through the audio book of the Hobbit. 

I also highly recommend the picture book The River. It is about a canoe trek down the Hudson River and Danny and I both loved it
