Hello and greetings from Gig Harbor Washington.
We had an early start so we could arrive in time for an evaluation appointment at Biscuits Doggie Day Care where Maddie and Kiara will hang out while we are all at the zoo.
We had a bit of excitement this morning where Kiara jumped through the open RV door and chased a squirrel up a tree. Fortunately we caught her before she disappeared over the embankment to the creek on the other side of our RV site.
The girls also had fun yesterday keeping eyes on these adorable bunnies that were hopping around our RV site in Troutdale
The drive here was a bit wet and after so little rain in CA seeing the level of rain fall has been thrilling. Everything here is so green and lush and beautiful.
Tonight we are celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary at the Green House Restaurant in Gig Harbor.
Tomorrow we head to the Point Defiance Zoo.
